razor CMS is a flat file content management system meaning it does not have a database. It was forked from a project called uCMS.

While the CMS provides all the basic functionality straight out of the box, it also allows for adding extensions (blade packs) for further functionality.

Speaking summarily, razorCMS gives you the base functionality required to run a website and add the extra functionality as you need via the blade pack management system.

Everything from WYSIWYG editors to SEF URL is added and available as extra functionality.
